Manage technical aspects of company's website, including functionality and content. May also monitor other electronic media.
- Contributes to the overall performance measurement goals of the department.
- Ensures that the company's branding guidelines are incorporated into marketing messages and promotional materials.
- Maintains all content and images on the company’s website. Updates website (and social media profiles including Facebook and Twitter) daily.
- Ensures that website content is consistent with company’s strategic plan and refreshes website content to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and images.
- Remains up to-date on the latest technologies and trends, including social media, internet marketing, security issues, authoring tools and graphic design tools.
- Assists departments with Internet and IT needs applicable to each department’s execution of marketing objectives.
- Performs other department or company's projects as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills Requirements:
- Must have GED or high school diploma or some college courses.
- Must pay attention to detail, be organized, dependable and have the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communications skills in writing, editing, sales, telephone and interpersonal communications.
- Knowledge of statewide visitor industry especially Anchorage, Seward, Denali and Fairbanks
- Knowledge of PC’s, including word processing, spreadsheet and some database software.
- Web apps, Word Press and other content management systems.
- Understanding of template format, database driven websites and basic html language.
Work Requirements:
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week and occasional overtime.
- Must be able to work in close quarters.
