We are looking for a versatile
individual to fill our Sales & IT Manager position. The candidate will
be responsible for the development and performance of all sales
activities. The Sales & IT Manager will also prepare reports of findings
that will help management to establish plans and strategies to expand
the customer base in the marketing area.
Job Description:
- Implementation of computerized reservation system
- Oversee reservation process and inventory management
- Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization
- Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences,
needs and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors
affecting product demand
- Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically
- Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing
collected data
- Seek and provide information to help company determine their
position in the marketplace
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and
communications program and strategies
- Attend staff conferences to provide management with information
and proposal concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and
pricing of company products or services
- Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and
method of marketing and distribution
- Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade
literature
- Supervisor may assign other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- The qualified candidate must posses:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Master degree is
preferred.
- Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in the tourism
industry as well as 3 years of IT experience.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and willingness to
help others.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to ensure the integrity and
confidentiality of information.
