  1. Provide assistance to IT and Internet Marketing Manager as needed including:

 

    1. Pay per click administration
    2. Website traffic analysis
    3. Review websites note errors and omissions as well as make recommendations for improvements
    4. Update info on website
    5. Help other associates in related matters
    6. Web P.R. including removal and/or rebuttal of negative publicity.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 

 

  1. Provides administrative assistant to Management by:
  1. Scheduling appointments, copying and Faxing. 
  2. Light bookkeeping.
  3. Run errands.
  4. Researches information for the Management on web or over the phone.
  5. Update and improve job website.
  6. Keep adequate quantity of office supplies (including Letterhead, envelopes and other forms).

 

  1. Assist with recruiting process by:

1.      Processing and posting job announcements, coding resumes, applications and conducting phone references checks.

2.      Screening applications and possible conducting interviews for seasonal employees.

3.      Prepares new employees paperwork and contracts for seasonal employees.

 

  1. Compose routine correspondence in accordance with standard policies.

VENDOR RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE


 

The Vendor Relations Representative (VRR) will work very closely with the Reservations and Accounting Departments. This person will be focused on vendor recruiting, dispute resolution, customer service, monitoring and maintaining terms of agreements with vendors. Also this person must verify that all vendors’ charges are correct and process payments.

 

This position works under direct supervision of the Sales Manager.

 

1.  Develop new vendors – Recruiting.

2.  Keep files updated.

3.  Maintain vendors database.

4.  Periodically review information about vendors on ADT website to ensure accuracy.

5.  Review competetitors website to identify possible vendors.

6.  Review vendor invoices, check that rates charged match agreements, then process payments in Rez System and Quickbooks.

7.  Support Reservations Department, answering phone calls, filing, taking reservations, taking payments, mailing information and answering inquiries.

8.  Supervisor may assign other duties as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • High School diploma, College degree preferred and some applicable business experience.
  • Microsoft Office experience is required, (Word, Excell & Outlook).
  • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Works well in a team environment and posses a willingness to help others.
  • Strong organizational skills specifically paying close attention to detail.

Food and Beverage Manager / Accounting Assistant

 

Denali Backcountry Lodge is looking for an energetic, motivated person to join our Management Team. Offering 40 hours work week. The candidate must have 5 years of work experience on restaurant management, accounting, budgeting, P & L, staffing, scheduling, menu knowledge, pricing, inventory control, ordering, and high computer knowledge.

 

The candidate must be able to:

·        Coordinate the overall and daily operations of the restaurant and bar.

·        Oversees cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of dining room and equipment.

·        Ensures all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

·        Directs hiring, scheduling, gives assignments, training, motivation and termination of personnel.

·        Investigates and resolves food quality and  service complaints.

·        Ensures the company’s quality standards for food and beverage service and guest satisfaction. 

·        Direct and supervise staff of restaurant and bar.

·        Menu pricing, budget and control cost for food, beverage, labor and operational expenses.

·        Able to help control and monitor expense budgets to maintain P & L goals.

·        Accountable for restaurant’s profitability.

 

The candidate must posses:

·        Creativity: originate an idea into being (new products, better procedures, etc.)

·        Dependability: able to relay on for support (work long days)

·        Initiative: readiness to undertake something on one’s own

·        Integrity: adherence to a code of sound values

·        Attitude: overall positive feeling, opinion and mood.

·        Appearance: pressed clean clothes and well-groomed appearance. Must be able to stand during most of the day, moving from area to area in the restaurant on a rotation basis especially during peak hours. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, lift and carry cases weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

 

Denali Backcountry Lodge is a seasonal property that operates during summer season. During the off-season the employee work will be focus and accounting, budgeting and hiring, also employee must be able to fill in any position as needed.

 

The candidate must posses a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.

MARKETING WRITER

(This is a year around position - Wasilla Office Location)

 Denali Lodges is looking for an avid and flexible writer that loves to write and learns quickly.  The employee will be responsible for:

1.      Maintaining the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of the written and graphical content of online as well as offline publications (articles, press release and brochures), while conforming to established standards. This will involve working closely with internal staff to gather/organize content, support related to web publishing.

2.      While the applicant can have his/her own style, he/she must know how to shift gears and adopt a different tone in his/her writing.

3.      The candidate must be able to perform basic research functions to increase his/her understanding of any given topic.

4.      Edit his/her own work (repeatedly), catch typos, and believe good writing is concise, easy to read and widely understood.

5.      Additionally the employee will identify and/or implement improvement to web pages.

6.      Assist with website analysis and assess other websites within the industry.

7.      Public Relations. Watch closely the Company’s reviews or scoring on the web.

8.      Identify opportunities from a Marketing perspective.

 

  • 2-3 years of professional writing experience including online content creation experience
  • Flexible, patient and willing to take on new projects as assigned
  • Comfortable integrating diverse feedback from team workers.
  • Self motivated, detail-oriented, creative and independent yet team-minded
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications. With emphasis on writing.
