Drug and Alcohol Policy

Denali Lodges is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment free from the hazards of employees affected by drugs and alcohol. All selected applicants, as a condition of hire, will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug test. Additionally, all employees may be subject to random drug screening during the course of the summer. Denali Lodges reserves the right to conduct drug and alcohol testing for matters such as resonable suspicion and post-accident/ incident investigation.

Applicants selected for driving related positions will be required to hold a current physical card as required by the Alaska Department of Transportation, as well as provide evidence of a clean driving record for the past two years. These (driving) employees will be subject to the following catagories of FHWA/ DOT drug and / or alcohol testing: pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, post-accident/ incident, and random.
